We design custom framed mirrors in traditional wooden mouldings and metal frames. Our moulding options vary from a sleek and modern wooden profile, to ornate and decorative frames. Our metal frames are finished in two different methods; anodising (available in limited colour options such as brass & gunmetal grey), and powder coating (endless colourways).
Our custom frameless mirrors are bespoke creations cut to any size and shape with a clean, polished edge. We are able to add further customisation to these mirrors, including custom LED backlighting, demister touch lights, and mirror tints.

In the beginning stage of our process, careful attention is paid to the location and specific requirements of the mirror.
We assess each piece’s dimensions, material, and stylistic elements, allowing us to recommend the most suitable options.
When it comes to inspiration, we can work from as little or as much as you have. We regularly refine our own past mirrors for new spaces & sizes, or create a series of shapes for you to choose from based on your style & location.

Custom Colourways & Textures
When designing framed mirrors, the finish of the frame is the next discussion we will have. These usually fall into two options; framed in a moulding such as timber or an ornate frame from our collection, or a custom metal frame.
Our metal frames can be tailored to the colour and texture you desire, as well as your budget. We offer both anodised and powder coated finishes for our metal frames. Anodising limits our colourways, while powder coating expands them.

Once the design brief for your custom mirror is clear, our team will begin to create it. This involves a lot of logistics from our suppliers and varies as each job is unique. Our team will always provide you with updates along the way, and give you a lead time for your custom project.
Experienced Team of Installers
At The Framing Project, we work with an expert team of installers at Hang It Up Solutions to deliver & install your mirror. Once your custom project is complete, we will coordinate a time with you to install the mirror. This process usually takes under an hour and will be quoted to you in the initial stages of our project.
This takes the stress & hassle out of a complex process for you, leaving your design in the hands of professionals for a trusted & safe install that will last throughout the years.

Each custom mirror has a different cost as the style, shape, size and special finishes all impact the quote. Most of our custom mirrors start from $1000. If you have a specific piece in mind with a strict budget, please let us know and we can work through the options with you to meet your requirements.
Our LED mirrors are installed with a driver. This means you will need a licensed electrician to connect your LED mirror lighting to your switch. If you require assistance on this, please let us know and we can guide you through the process.
Yes! In fact, we love it when clients provide a drawing file. We are able to cut your file directly. If you need assistance with any adjustments, we can also help with this.
Our lead times vary on your specific mirror and its finish. For example, anodising a metal frame will take a few weeks longer than a powder coated frame, as our custom-made metal frames are transported to our anodiser before coming back to us to be fit with glass. Our level of current large-scale projects also contribute to the lead time on custom mirrors, although we will always do our best to provide you with an accurate lead time and work to your deadlines.
